This art collection is an exploration of slowing down, immersing oneself in the gradients of color, reflections of light, and fluidity of nature. Infusing drops of liquid colors into water and letting them organically blend together, creating worlds of peace, contentment, and tranquility. Each piece is window to this special place and moment in time.
Through my paintings I wanted to capture the essence of a perfect day outside in nature.
Still and tranquil, watching the sunset and smelling the simultaneously fresh and musky scents of the forest. I feel this most when I’m in a remote place on vacation - the most recent were Joshua Tree and Big Sur.
Watching the clouds slowly move, the colors of the sky changing ever so slightly, then quickly.
Capturing this with your eyes impossible to capture by camera.
Freeze a moment in time.
